Our vision is to remove the taboo around personal finance and Finsnap aims to make every Indian girl in charge of her money while being digitally smart in this super connected world.
Finsnap is a dream project of Diya Roongta, 18 yrs. A student of Class XII at The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, and now a CS major at Ashoka University, Diya has been a strong votary of financial literacy and un-complicating digital world as a means of empowerment for young girls. Diya believes that the first step to financial empowerment lies in having the confidence to face the entire plethora of choices and options and developing a deep understanding of all things financial and digital.
Diya also formed a team of teenage girls who are now helping her in this endeavour to empower teenage girls, financially and digitally:
Vrinda Chandra, 18, a graduate of The Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, is a member of the core team of Finsnap. She is our Chief Operating Officer.

Finsnap’s 6 module webinar explores topics in a hierarchical manner— ranging from the need of financial literacy, how to save and spend, how to approach banking, stock markets and taxation, how to use digital facilities to learn, spend, and earn! We have already given webinars to multiple schools across India - including The Shri Ram School, Moulsari (Delhi), DLRC (Pune), Saraf Public School (Uttrakhand), and more.
Team Finsnap also collaborates with various companies, entrepreneurs and investment advisors to provide you with the best tips and concept base for investing. We use a practical, real world approach that is different from our textbooks.
What will you learn by attending these? Unlike the usual boring and jargon-filled webinars that we all have been a part of at some point in our lives, we decided to bring to you a webinar filled with easy to understand infographics and illustrations, fun facts and simplified financial concepts.
If you are a school/college and are interested, contact us to know more and register for these webinars!
